Together Around the Table: Our First In-House Foosball Tournament Has Come to a Close

Over the past few weeks, lunch breaks at airinotec weren’t just for eating—they were also for playing foosball. Our foosball table wasn’t just sitting in the room—it was used regularly. For quick breaks, spontaneous matches, and, in recent weeks, especially intensively for our in-house foosball tournament. Colleagues from various departments competed against one another. The tournament spanned several weeks—featuring short matches, plenty of enthusiasm, and the occasional surprising talent behind the handles.

The winners have now been determined.

In addition to exciting games and close matches, the focus was above all on what defines our everyday interactions: team spirit, a sense of belonging, and shared moments outside of our daily projects. These kinds of small-scale events show just how valuable it is when colleagues not only work together but also laugh together, cheer each other on, and spend time together.

After all, a good team isn’t built solely in meetings, projects, or official events. It also grows when people come together in a relaxed setting, get to know each other better, and realize: We belong together. It’s precisely these moments that strengthen our shared cause.

A big thank you to all the teams that participated, to all the spectators for cheering us on, and, of course, congratulations to our winners. We’re already looking forward to the next round.
